Occupy Austin. At the Austin City Hall this afternoon from 3PM-10PM there was a large group of folks protesting and generally voicing their opinions to whomever would watch/gawk/listen It was organized as Occupy Austin. I got there late but it was a very interesting scene several folks I know were involved in organizing it and it was really quite the event there were lots of interesting signs, and people. As well there were speakers, bongo players, and even at one point a DJ with a dance party. It appeared that there was free food and even beverages being provided.
